Brandon studied medicine in Seoul National University College of Medicine and is a board certified physician in Family Medicine, trained at Seoul National University Hospital. Prior to medical school, he graduated from KAIST with a bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences. He has also received master’s degrees in both Public Health (MPH) and Business Administration (MBA). Brandon has a deep passion for medical research with much experience in both basic and clinical research, having published 30+ articles in world-renowned journals like Hepatology and Annals of Oncology.

Anthony is one of the co-founders and executive chairman of Lunit. In 2014, he received his PhD in Electrical Engineering from KAIST. During his graduate study, he organized a deep learning research group with fellow KAIST student researchers, which eventually became the foundation for Lunit. He is a multidisciplinary researcher with internationally recognized expertise in the fields of deep-learning-based image recognition and semiconductor design.

Jungin has over 8 years of experience working as a full-stack programmer including iOS, android, web and game. He received his BS and MS degrees in Computer Science from KAIST. Based on his extensive experience as a developer and deep interest in research, he incorporates UI/UX into Lunit's deep-learning-based algorithm to build the overall system in the form of completed products.

Minhong runs business development at Lunit. Previously, he devised online business strategies and analyzed customer behavior in the Home Health Department at InBody, Inc, the worldwide leader in body composition technology. Minhong received his BS in Materials Science and Engineering and MS in Management Engineering from KAIST.

Sunggyun is a PhD candidate in Industrial and Systems Engineering at KAIST. Before joining Lunit as a research scientist, he focused on stochastic process for product pricing and machine learning for problems, which are related to operations management and computer vision. He is currently interested in any problem that can be solved with data.

Kyunghyun, one of the co-founders, is a senior research engineer at Lunit. During his graduate study at KAIST, he conducted research on various computer vision areas including multi-view geometry, and object recognition with deep neural network. Based on his expertise, he participated in ILSVRC two times in 2014 and 2015, and won 7th and 5th place for the cls-loc task, respectively.

Donggeun received his BS and MS degree in Electrical Engineering at KAIST. He is a PhD candidate at KAIST but decided to take time off to join Lunit. With Team Lunit-KAIST, he participated at ILSVRC, ranking 5th place at the main task. He was invited to ILSVRC'15 workshop to give a talk on the method, which was selected as one of top 3 novel localization approaches. During his internship at Adobe Research in the US, he worked on large-scale video representation learning. His research interest includes representation learning, unsupervised learning and large-scale learning, for visual recognition.

Hyo-Eun received his PhD degree in Electrical Engineering from KAIST in 2013. Previously, he worked at Samsung Electronics, where he was involved in developing 2D/3D graphics IPs of mobile AP products. At Lunit, he develops medical image analysis applications based on computer vision and machine learning techniques. His research interests include computer vision algorithms based on neural networks, cache architectures of CPU/GPU, and VLSI implementation of low-power multimedia processors.

Hyemin graduated with a BFA in Graphic Design from Rhode Island School of Design. Prior to Lunit, she worked at MITx as a visual designer and participated in a startup team that created open online courses from MIT. At Lunit, she works on branding, UI design, and all creative artwork.

Gajin worked as a sales manager at TicketMonster, one of the leading e-commerce companies in Korea. When she later joined the Korea Business Angels Association (KBAN), she worked for a government project called TIPS (Tech Incubator Program for Startup), and participated in selecting startups and providing mentorship and R&D funds. Based on her experience, she handles the administration and government R&D projects at Lunit.

Ji won majored in health administration and obtained a health information management license. Prior to Lunit, she managed hospital administration and medical records at hospitals. Currently, she is in charge of collecting and refining patient data about breast cancer.

Jiyun previously worked as an office manager and sales administrator for several years in medical field. She was in charge of managing office environments and the documents regarding medical equipment KFDA, quality assurance, sales supports and sales administration. Her role is to support all members to do their best in their own position and make them feel comfortable to work.

Nayoung received her BS degree in Nursing and Business Administration from Korea University and is a Registered Nurse(RN), trained at Korea University Medical Center and other affiliated hospitals. At Lunit, she works on business development and regulatory affairs for medical devices in domestic and international healthcare industry.

Byungjae received his Master's degree in Computer Science from Inha University with a focus on object recognition using deep neural network. During his graduate study, he participated in ILSVRC 2015 and 2016, and won 2nd place for the VID task for two times. His research interests include machine learning, deep learning, and object detection.

Jaehong received his BS and Ph.D in Computer Science from Korea University. Before joining Lunit, he studied medical image processing focusing on image enhancement and GPGPU programming for developing real-time 2D/3D imaging system with Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT). At Lunit, his research interests include computer vision and deep learning based solutions for visual analysis of 2D and 3D images.

Cesc Chunseong Park received the MS degree in computer science & engineering from Seoul National University. He is a recipient of the NAVER, MS Fellowship and NVIDIA Deep Learning Contest Awards(Korea). His research interests include deep learning, computer vision, and natural language understanding.

Jaehwan received his bachelor and master’s degree in Computer Science from Postech. Prior to Lunit, he worked on computer graphics and image processing. He also has experience in professional programming for computer game.

SangYeob received his BSc in Computer Science from Yonsei University. Prior to Lunit, he worked for several startups as a full-stack web developer. He focuses on front-end engineering and contributed to open-source JavaScript projects such as React Native.

Soochul received BS degree in Computer Science from KAIST. He has been working as a software engineer for 12 years and his skill sets are specialized in backend technologies such as network, database, and distributed systems. He is also interested in various field of software technologies like DevOps, software engineering, etc.

Kyoungwon received his BS degree in Computer Science from Korea University. Then he received MS degree at KAIST. Before joining Lunit, he worked at Kakao for 3 years and mainly worked on KakaoTalk server-side engineering.

Youngeun graduated Kyunghee University with a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics. Prior to joining Lunit, she worked as an accountant in a game company for three years. At Lunit, she is in charge of auditing, tax reporting, and managing business affairs.

Eunji worked in the Dongguk University hospital as a health information manager. She managed patient health information and medical records. At Lunit, she works on the pathology team for supporting quality clinical and pathologic data.

Hyeonseob received his BS and MS degrees in Computer Science and Engineering from POSTECH. Prior to joining Lunit, he worked at NAVER as a research engineer for two years. He won 1st place in VOT Challenge 2015 and 2016, and 2nd place in VQA Challenge 2016. His research interests include computer vision, deep learning and multimodal learning.

Seulhee graduated University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry. She also has received her master’s degree in Material Science Engineering at Seoul National University. Prior to Lunit, she worked on international regulatory affairs for drugs and medical devices at Hanmi Pharmaceutical Company. At Lunit, she continues her career as a regulatory affairs specialist for medical devices in domestic and international healthcare industry.

Seung je received a license for health information manager. He worked as a clinical data manager for the Lung Cancer Research of the Thoracic Surgery Department of Samsung Medical Center, collecting and managing data, and later served as a clinical research coordinator. Currently, he is in charge of collecting pathology information from Lunit.

Minchul received his Master's degree in Statistics from Seoul National University with a focus on Bayesian statistics. During his graduate study, he worked on fast Bayesian computation by parallelizing MCMC algorithm on multiple GPUs. His research interests include machine learning, deep learning, and probabilistic modeling.

Kihwan is a board-certified radiologist, trained at Korea University Medical Center. He has also received his Ph.D. at KAIST and published many articles for MRI pulse sequence developments and improving MR image quality with deep learning. He is currently conducting research to improve the diagnostic value of radiology in clinical practice.

Inwan received his BS and MS degree in Computer Science Engineering at UNIST. Before joining Lunit, he researched biomedical image processing using deep learning. His research interests include machine learning, deep learning, and computer vision.

Hyunjae received his BS and MS degree in Computer Science from Seoul National University. During his graduate study, he worked on optimizing deep learning algorithm on embedded systems. He won the 2nd place in Embedded Deep Learning Design Contest 2017. His research interests include embedded deep learning and computer vision.

Jongchan received his BS and MS degrees in CS and EE from KAIST, respectively. Before joining Lunit, he has worked in many start-up companies in Korea. His research interest, including what he has done for his MS degree, covers general topics in deep learning for computer vision.

Woorak studied Computer Science at Sungkyunkwan University, College of Software for his BS and MS degree. During the graduate studies, he focused on how to make software more reliable. Woorak starts his corporate career at Lunit as a software engineer.

Juyeon graduated Korea University with BS degree in Nursing and received her RN(Registered Nurse) license. Prior to Lunit, she worked as a RN at Seoul National University Hospital and continued her career as a CRA(Clinical Research Associate) for drugs in healthcare industry. At Lunit, she works on Business Development and Clinical Research Operation for medical devices in domestic and international healthcare industry.

Prior to joining Lunit, Minji worked as a manager of government projects for startups at the Korea Advanced Nano Fab Center. At Lunit, she assists in managing general affairs and administration. And she also handles part of government R&D projects.

Chanick is a dreamer who believes the world can get better by accumulating good efforts of each. He is interested in many diverse areas like philosophy, psychology, economics, art, and physics. So he keeps connecting these dots, especially among people. He likes to walk, read and write. Before Lunit, he worked at Siemens for 9 years as MR Product Specialist, Project Commercial Manager and Business Manager of Interventional Radiology and Cardiology. He got M.S. and B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Seoul National University.

Hyeonseong worked as an IPO/IR manager at SillaJen, a global leader in oncolytic immunotherapeutics, and contributed significantly to the successful IPO into the KOSDAQ market. Prior to joining SillaJen, he has published many reports on investment feasibility studies as a senior analyst at Korea Ratings. He holds a BS in economics from Hanyang University and an MS in Management Engineering from KAIST.

Chasun received her BS and MS degree in Life Science from Hanyang University. Before joining Lunit, she worked at Stryker and GreenCross Medical Science as RA/QA/Reimbursement Specialist. At Lunit, she continues her career as a Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance Specialist for medical devices(AI) in domestic healthcare industry.

Dasom received a BFA in Graphic Design with a minor in Psychology from Pratt Institute. Prior to Lunit, she worked for newrow_, Weber Shandwick, and CrossPoint New York. She currently works on Lunit's creative assets and UI design.

Seokhwan graduated Anyang University with a bachelor’s degree Computer Science Engineering. Before joining Lunit, He has been working as a software developer for several years. He is interested in the various field of backend technologies like network, database, and distributed systems.

Harry received his BS in Biomedical Engineering degree from Georgia Institute of Technology. Prior to Lunit, Harry worked on domestic and international regulations for Class IIb and Class III medical devices at CEBIKA Inc. medical device manufacturing company. He continues his career at Lunit as a regulatory affairs specialist and seeks knowledge to develop medical devices that are safe, effective, and ultimately groundbreaking for the healthcare society worldwide.

Jinho received her BS degree in Veterinary Medicine and MS degree in Law from Chonnam National University. Prior to joining Lunit, she worked as an In-house Counsel for 5 years at a pharmaceutical company where she gained experience reviewing contracts and providing legal advice for the company. Also, she experienced and handled legal cases including lawsuits. At Lunit, she continues her career as an In-house Counsel in the domestic healthcare industry.

JISOO majored in health science and obtained a health information management license. At Lunit, she scan the pathology slides and collect the medical information about pathology.

Jaehoon is interested in overall software engineering and optimization through harmonization of software and system. For more than 10 years, he has worked on software requirements analysis and system architecture design, performance tuning and troubleshooting of Linux. His role at Lunit is to deploy product.

David has joined Lunit to develop Chinese market. Before join Lunit, he has operated own business in China for over 6 years. And, he was also an analyst for private equity real estate funds in Miraeasset Global investment, the largest investment company in Korea.

Woosuk worked in medical software field several years. He always tried to make more reliable,user friendly software. At lunit he develop PACS related software module.

Jussarang is a communications professional with an international experience in covering a diverse area of topics, from medical humanitarian issues, politics, to arts & culture. She began her career as a journalist in New York, then expanded her scope into media relations, content creation, and overall communications at the Korean Embassy in the US and Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors Without Borders. Jussarang has a BA in mass communications and visual/performing arts from Handong Global University.

Prior to joining Lunit, Jae-Hong worked as a software developer at NCsoft and Take-Two Interactive. he has published many books for programming language and server infrastructure.

Prior to joining Lunit, Jiyeon had worked as a web application developer in the IOT field, taking charge of service creation for the close interaction between users and devices. At Lunit, she is in charge of frontend development.

Haejoon received his BS and MS degree in Computer Science from Postech, majoring computer graphics and 3D model reconstruction. Prior to Lunit, he had developed backend system of several projects including ShinhanBank AI platform and cryptocurrency auto trading service.

Heesung has over 10 years of experience working as a system engineer in the area of CDN. He is a curious person who enjoys learning new facts and acquiring new knowledge. As an engineer, he believes the development of technology can create a better world where people can focus on more creative things. At Lunit, he works on product deployment.

Gyujin's vision as a software engineer is to make UIs that help to communicate information effectively, elegantly, accurately as well as meaningfully. Previously she worked at Ridi, an e-book platform that aims to make books more affordable to people all over the world. She studied Visual Communication Design at Kookmin University.

At Lunit, Gyeong-a assists in managing general affairs and administration for more efficient and productive work environment. Before joining Lunit, she worked as a manager of government projects and supported startup companies at KANC(Korea Advanced Nano fab Center).

Jinmin received BS degree in Business Administration from Kwangwoon University. He worked as a HR Manager in MaeKyung Media Group. At Lunit, he works to be a specialist in HR management.

Changho is in charge of general Human Resource development and HR related government projects at Lunit. He is interested in an hr strategy that can maximize the synergy between the company and its members. His goal is to provide the link between the Company and all team members and enable them to contribute at optimum levels toward the success of Lunit.

Her role is to manage software quality. She prides herself on improving the quality of the software by analyzing requirements and validating the whole development phase. She wants to grow up with Lunit based on a variety of software validation experiences.

Hoyoung is in charge of managing intellectual properties. He passed the Korean Patent Bar exam in 2012, and prior to joining Lunit, he has experienced in obtaining intellectual property rights of various companies from global conglomerates to start-ups and handling dispute and litigation matters as a patent attorney. He is interested in studying new technology and patent disputes cases.

Minje Jang received the BS degree in KAIST. His research interests include deep learning, graph signal processing.

JeongHoon is Translational biomedical informatics researcher. He joined Lunit to derive clinical value from Precision Pathology-based AI technologies and to conduct genomics-based interpretations. He serves to bridge the gap between different fields such as genomics, tumor biology and radiology. He received BS in computer information engineering from Inha University. He is Ph.D candidate in Bioinformatics from Seoul National University of Biomedical Informatics (SNUBI).

Janice manages business development at Lunit. She is a committed professional in the healthcare industry with experience across diverse healthcare sectors, in both clinical and product marketing for medical imaging and personal health devices. Prior to joining Lunit, she worked at global healthcare companies and also an an international medical humanitarian organization, MSF. Janice received her BS in Biomedical Science from University of Pennsylvania.

Inwoo is in charge of creating new business opportunities in overseas market and is involved in the commercialization process of Lunit's products. Previously, he had worked at Celltrion Healthcare, a leading biosimilar company in the global immunology and oncology field. At Celltrion, he was responsible for business development in MENA (Middle East and North Africa) region. Inwoo majored in Economics & Finance at Hanyang University.

Jimin works on Lunit's branding and brand design. Prior to Lunit, she had worked for SM Entertainment, YG Entertainment, and Starbucks Coffee Korea as a brand designer and visual director. Jimin majored in Visual Communication Design at RMIT University.

I am Clinical Research Manager. Prior to Lunit, I worked as CRC in Seoul National University Hospital and worked as CRA in global CRO for clinical research of pharmaceutical companies such as ChongKunDang, Boryung and Janssen.

10 years working experience in medical device industry as a RA/QA expert.

Seoyeon is a front-end developer. Prior to joining Lunit, he had been involved in projects by Naver, Samsung, Hyundai Mobis, LGU + and many other companies. He likes to do various design problems and data visualization related to front-end development.

Heeeun graduated Hanyang University with bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering. She worked on regulatory affairs at electronic medical device manufacturing company. Currently, she continues as regulatory affairs specialist for medical devices in domestics and international healthcare industry.

I work as biostatistician. I am responsible for statistical analysis and review of clinical data.

Dr. Eliot Siegel, FACR, FSIIM, is known as a visionary in radiology and one of the early pioneers of the Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS), is Professor and Vice Chairman of Research Information Systems at the University of Maryland, Adjunct Professor of Computer Science and Biomedical Engineering at University of Maryland, and is Chief of Radiology and Nuclear Medicine for the Veterans Affairs Maryland Healthcare System, Baltimore, MD. Under his guidance, VA Maryland Healthcare System became the first filmless healthcare enterprise in the world.

Dr. Linda Moy, a key opinion leader in breast imaging, is a professor at NYU School of Medicine. She holds a joint appointment at the NYU Langone Medical Center and at the NYU Center for Advanced Imaging Innovation and Research. She is the Chair of the Radiological Society of North America’s Scientific Program Committee on Breast Imaging and also serves as a Deputy Editor for Breast Imaging at Radiology. Serial Entrepreneur, Founder and Chief Medical/Chief Technology Officer of higi, a medical technology company that makes self-service health stations, Dr. Khan Siddiqui brings over 22 years of experience as a practicing clinician and technology professional. A visiting Associate Professor at the Department of Radiology at John Hopkins University School of Medicine, former Co-Director at the Center for Biomedical & Imaging Informatics, Johns Hopkins University. Prior to founding higi in 2012, Dr. Siddiqui was a Physician Executive and Principal Program Manager at Microsoft.

Jihoon Jeong received his MD from Hanyang University and PhD in Biomedical Engineering from University of Southern California (USC) Viterbi School of Engineering under the supervision of Dr. Daniel Farkas. He has been consistently pursuing his professional career at the intersection of technology and healthcare by serving in various roles including general physician, research scientist, book writer, professor, startup advisor and angel investor.

Kyunghyun Cho is an assistant professor in Department of Computer Science, Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences and Center for Data Science at New York University (NYU). Previously, he was a postdoctoral researcher at University of Montreal under the supervision of Professor Yoshua Bengio after obtaining his PhD at Aalto University (Finland) in early 2014. Kyunghyun’s main research interests include neural networks, generative models and their applications, especially to language understanding.
